You are cordially invited to participate in the 1st International Conference on Biodegradable
Polymers and Sustainable Composites (BIOPOL-2007) to be held October 3-5, 2007, at University of
Alicante, Alicante, Spain. Scientists from both academic and industrial laboratories who are
interested in biodegradable polymers and biocomposites are encouraged to participate with the
aim to exchange up-to-date ideas and opinions on current research and new applications.
This conference is organized by University of Alicante, with the support of the Spanish Ministry of Science, Suscompnet Ib�rica network, NanoFunPoly network of excellence, Condensia Qu�mica S.A. and other sponsors.
The 1st International Conference on Biodegradable Polymers and Sustainable Composites will last for three days and will cover all key areas in the field of biodegradable polymers science and technology. This conference aims to bring together a wide range of polymer scientists, engineers, researchers and students. Around 150 participants from all over the world are expected to attend the congress, where main sessions will be covered by renowned lecturers and researchers. The congress will offer an excellent opportunity for in-depth discussion between scientists, engineers and leading experts on all major topics of biodegradable polymers science. There will be plenary lectures (45 minutes), oral contributions (20 minutes including discussion) as well as poster sessions.
