On behalf of the organizing committee it is a great pleasure for us to welcome you to the 1st international conference on Biodegradable Polymers and Sustainable Composites to be held in Alicante (Spain) during 3-5 October 2007.
The conference has the aim to provide a forum for researchers and engineers from all over the world to exchange up-to-date ideas and opinions on current research and new applications of biodegradable polymers and biocomposites. The meeting will address mainly new developments in packaging, agriculture and automotive applications.
The conference programme will feature review lectures by expert speakers from throughout the world. An industrial exhibition is also planned to encourage an open discussion between developers, manufacturers and users of Biodegradable Polymers and Biocomposites. We encourage participants to present their current research work as short oral communications or posters in one of the topics of the programme.
